Team Androni Giocattoli starts in Argentina

The 2011 Italian Team Champions will make their debut in the Tour of San Luis, Argentina, on January 23. The Tour of San Luis is one of the most important races of the American Calendar and it will see the presence of big teams with champions like Alberto Contador, Tom Boonen and Vincenzo Nibali. Gianni Savio will direct a multi-ethnic team made up of Italians: Roberto Ferrari and Giairo Ermeti, colombians: Josè Serpa and Miguel Angel Rubiano and venezuelans : Carlos Ochoa and Jackson Rodriguez.

The Tour of India - in which Fabio Felline, Alessandro De Marchi, Salvatore Mancuso, Antonino Parrinello and Francisco Moreno, would have taken part under the direction of Giovanni Ellena - has been postponed from January 23 to March 25. The European debut of Androni Giocattoli will be in Gran Premio Costa degli Etruschi in Donoratico on March 4.
