Forza Alessandro Bertolini !!

from L to R A. De Marchi, A Bertolini, Gianni Savio C. Ochoa and M. Rubiano
Alessandro Bertolini has been awarded in his hometown, Mori this morning before the starting of the second leg of Giro del Trentino.

Alessandro, who is not attending the Tour because will debut later this months in the Gr...an Premio di Larciano, has received a special price from his team manager Gianni Savio in front of his fans: a plaque in recognition for the brilliant career activity over the course of seven years with the team.

In today's stage, once again, cycling has confirmed to be as fascinating as unpredictable sport. The selection didn't happen in the final climb to the finish line (taking to Sant'Orsola Terme) but has occurred in the previous downhill, thanks to rain that made the road very slippery. The Group was broken into two pieces and the three captains of the italian-venezuelan team - José Rujano, José Serpa and Emanuele Sella- were in the back. Miguel Angel Rubiano managed to stay in the first part of the peloton with the winner of today's stage Cunego.

Rubiano is now at the eighth place in the overall standings where Mathias Frank took the place of teammate Taylor Phinney.

More about Alessandro Bertolini, before he became part of the Team under Gianni Savio he was part a other team who also rode on Bianchis, in 2004 the Team with riders such as Magnus Bäckstedt (winner of Paris Roubaix), Andrea Tafi, Scott Sunderland, Marcus Ljungqvist etc. Yes I am talking about Team Alessio-Bianchi, Alessandro really have a nice career on the bike, me and other fans are happy that Alessandro has made 7 years with Gianni and today with Team Androni Giocattoli-Venezuela!

Thanks for being a rolemodel for todays Pro:s Alessandro!
